Q: What is the ruling regarding shaving the moustache with a blade?
A: Trimming and shaving the moustache, both are permissible. However trimming is better.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
عن نافع عن ابن عمر عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال خالفوا المشركين وفروا اللحى وأحفوا الشوارب وكان ابن عمر إذا حج أو اعتمر قبض على لحيته فما فضل أخذه (بخاري #5892)
