Writing the Qur’an through transliteration

Q: Sometimes you hear Muslims joining the verses in al Faatihah, (saying the last vowel and continuing). So can you please provide transliteration of how to correctly recite Al Faatihah in full including the basmalah without stopping?

A: It is impermissible to write the Qur’an through transliteration. We advise that you go to some Aalim and improve your recitation by him. It is not possible to get the correct pronunciation of the Qur’an through transliteration of any language. Hence one should learn the correct pronunciation directly from a Haafiz or Aalim.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
