Applying an ointment for pain in ihraam

Q: Is applying ointment for pain or other cause also prohibited after one had entered ihram, because normally all ointment has a scent whereas all scented things are prohibited in the state of ihram?

A: If the ointment gives off a perfumed scent, then you should not use it in the state of ihraam. Instead you should look for some other alternative.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
