Exchanging a portion of one’s property for a portion of the musjids property

Q: A muslim person want to give the back portion of his property to the masjid, which is next to masjid on some conditions. He wants some front part of the masjid’s property. He wants to make a shop over their but some people who gave money to the masjid are opposed to this proposal. They don’t want to exchange the masjid part.

A: If the property is not waqf property then the exchange can be made.
