Reciting ربنا و لك الحمد حمدا كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه in fardh Salaah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Can a person read the following Dua in his Fard Salaah:  حمدا كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه after reading: ربنا و لك الحمد, in ruku’, similarly can he read in jalsah: اللهم اغفرلي و ارحمني و عافني و اجبرني و ارزقني and if he is a muqtadi can he read these two dua’s?

A: One should read these duas in the sunnats and nawaafil. One should not recite these duas in Fardh Salaah whilst one is behind the Imaam. However if the Imaam delays in jalsa and qawmah, one may recite these duas behind the Imaam.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
