A person whose original income was acquired through running a betting agency

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: If a person acquired his original income from running a betting agency but has left that business for many years and now has established many
other halaal businesses is his current income halaal? Can we eat by his house?

A: It is possible that he had some other halaal sources of income. If he is doing business mainly with the halaal monies then there is no reason to doubt that his income is halaal.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
