Breaking one’s Salaah to attend to a child

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My son is 6 months old, during salaah I lay him on the floor. If I see he is in danger as in choking during making Fard salaah what do I do?

A: If there is nobody else to attend to him while you are performing Salaah and you see him choking, you can break your Salaah in order to see to him.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
