Dreaming of jinnaat

Q: I only want to put this question to you because this particular thing is happening to me very often now like 3/4 weeks. I am only thinking about jinnaat more when I am reading salaah and quraan zikr. I am not sure if I should worry about this but last night I dreamt that I am making wudhu and then I started making a slow noise which increased and then felt the presence of a jinn and got like stuck in my dream screaming till my wife got me up and I was terrified. Please advise me what to do I read munzil quls etc.

A: There is no need to be worried. After your five daily Salaah and before retiring to bed recite four quls and Aayatul Kursi. Allah Ta’ala will save you from all harm. The following appear in the Mubaarak Ahaadith regarding the virtue of Aayatul Kursi.

Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reports that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “In Surah Baqarah there is an aayah that is the greatest of all the verses of the Quran. This verse is Aayatul Kursi, in whichever home this verse is recited and a Shaytaan is present there, immediately the Shaytaan leaves the home.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
