Visiting relatives who are not purdah conscious

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: In Islam we are encouraged to visit relatives etc. How should one do this if most of the relatives are not purdah conscious and the lady relatives are probably going to try and talk to you when visiting. Should one try to visit these type of people or avoid going to these homes?

A: Visit them for very short moments and if this is also very difficult then speak to them telephonically.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
