Is jewellery counted as part of the mahr

Q: When the grooms party gives gold earring, neckless etc to the bride at the time of marriage, suppose the mahr is 120000 rupees and groom party gave a gold neckless of 50000 rupees. Then does it count as part of the mahr or the groom has to give full mahr?

A: If it was explained at the time of nikaah that the necklace is being given as part of the mahr, then it will be included in the mahr.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
