Can You Use Insurance to Cover HIV/AIDS Medication Costs?

Q: If a person has a disease such as HIV/AIDS and cannot afford the medication (1000$/month). Is it permissible to get insurance or use insurance benefits from work that one pays for in part?

A: Taking out insurance or medical aid is impermissible as the elements of gambling and interest are found in it. However if medical aid is a compulsory requirement of the company one is employed by, it will be permissible.
