Q: Can we (muslims) pray for a Hindu? Like may Allah give him progress? O can we only pray for his hidayat not other than that?
A: Without hidaayat, one is in total failure. Hence before making dua for his material progress, you should make dua that Allah Ta’ala bless him with hidaayat.
