A: In order for one to be successful or achieve any goal in life (whether worldly or Deeni related), one is required to show determination and courage. Without determination and the necessary effort one will not succeed in reaching his goal. Consider the evil consequences in the grave as well as in the hereafter on account of committing sins. It appears in the Hadith that in the manner a person leads his life that is how he will pass away and leave this world, and the manner he passes away he will be resurrected on the day of Qiyaamah. Ensure that you are punctual on your five daily Salaah with jamaat in the Musjid. Safeguard your eyes, ears, tongue and heart from committing sins at all times. Lead a life conforming to the Mubaarak life of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) and remain in pious company. Attend the programmes and gatherings of the pious servants of Allah Ta’ala. May Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) assist you in reforming your life.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Q: Referring to question 3741. Insha Allah I will follow your Advice. May Allah give you reward for this and give me wisdom. Mufti Sahab I am regretting about my past that I missed the time for the last 22 years since I came to U.S. I didn’t achieve anything. Now that I am 50 and still trying to survive, I have a 5 year old daughter and I have to take care of her very well. I still have time to learn some trade and find a Job. I have been driving Taxi for the last 20 Years. Unfortunately I didn’t work seriously and even didn’t make money and have come under financial problems which include debts also. Please advise.
