Programme to help raise awareness for Syria

Q: A programme to raise awareness for Syria is being held. An auction is being held after the programme. Is this permissible?

A: We are unaware of the nature of the programme and the auction that is going to be held thereafter. Hence, we are not in a position to issue a Shar’ee ruling. 

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
