Printing a translation of the Qur’an without the Arabic text

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it permissible to print the Quraan in English/Afrikaans or Zulu only without Arabic inscriptions for da’wah purposes?

A: It is impermissible to print a Qur’an of this nature (i.e. omitting the Arabic text and sufficing on the translations of different languages). Hence such a Qur’an should not be sold nor purchased nor should one recite from it. One should respectfully bury this Qur’an.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
