Buying a car on installment

Q: Kindly tell me what is the ruling for buying a new car on installment because in this case we have to pay extra money. Is this extra money considered as interest? And is it allowed to buy a car on installments?

A: If the person purchases the car directly from the seller and the price is fixed (no interest), however he is allowed to pay the entire amount in installments, it will be permissible.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
