What does the ‘Ibaadat of Allah Ta’ala mean?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: When the Quraan say that Allah has created us for His worship only (something to the effect and I am not certain if there is such a ayaat), does this refer to His worship until we die, taste death, only in this world and not in jannah?

A: Ibaadat refers to His service and recognition. So His recognition will continue in Jannah as well insha-Allah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
