Remaining committed to one mazhab

Q: Is hanbali way more correct and more closer to how the prophet used to do salah than hanfi way and do you get more reward for following the hanbali way? If Hanfi way of salah is more closer to Sunnah then Hanbali way what is the proof?

A: In principle, we believe and accept that all four mazhabs are on Haq. Similarly each mazhab has their proofs which are supported from the Qur’an and Sunnah. However all four mazhabs advocate that one confine himself to the following of one mazhab and thereafter remain committed to its teachings. In this way one will succeed in practising on the Qur’an and Sunnah. Refer to http://muftionline.co.za/node/2054
