Q: One person who has ta’lluq with the salafees told me that making dua with jamaat after salaah is not established. Therefore we shouldn’t make it in group. Rather each one should make his dua separately.
A: To make du`aa after fardh namaaz is established from saheeh authentic ahaadeeth. It should be done individually. However, because it is done in the same time it seems it is done altogether. Refer to http://muftionline.co.za/node/1528
