Q: We are encouraged to recite Surah Kahf on Friday. Please mention the lesson we need to learn from the incident of Nabi Musa (Alayhis salaam) and Hazrat Khidr (Alayhis salaam)?

A: There are numerous lessons that can be derived from the incident of Hazrat Nabi Musa (Alayhis Salaam) and Hazrat Nabi Khidr (Alayhis Salaam). However one important lesson that is derived is that to acquire Deen and the knowledge of Deen sacrifice is required. For further details refer to Maariful Qur’an of Hazrat Mufti Shaf’ee Saheb. The English translation is also available.
