Selling shoes made of pigskin leather

Q: I often buy & sell athletic shoes as a hobby & because they can also be profitable. Most of them are leather & textile made & I always avoid buying pigskin/pig leather made shoes but yesterday while searching online I found out that the inner lining of some athletics shoes are made of tanned pigskin, the inner lining is a small amount of lining inside of the shoe, just towards the heal area. I’ve found out that at least one pair I own may have this, searched for more online on the subject of tanned pigskin in Islam & found that there is a difference of opinion on the matter. Could you please shed more light as I believe I may have more pairs of shoes with the tanned pigskin inner linings & also about those shoes which have pigskin uppers as one fatwa website did not rule pigskin jackets as haram but quoted that it is better that they should be avoided. I have emailed manufacturer & asked for a detailed list to check with my collection of shoes though not sure if they will reply back.

A: It is impermissible to sell shoes made of pigskin leather or shoes with pigskin lining.
