Iddat period for a woman who’s husband passed away on the 1st of Jumadal Ula

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: My father passed away on 1st Jamadulawwal after Juma prayers and was buried that same day after Isha prayers. My Mother is in iddat, kindly tell us on when and at what time will her eddat period end? When can she go out to visit her relatives?

A: If your father passed away on the 1st Jumadal Ula, your mother’s iddat ends on the 10th of Ramadhaan.
