Reciting a masnoon dua in the first qa’da of a four rakaat nafil salaah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: In a four rakaat sunnah ghayr muakkad salaah or a four rakaat nafila prayed with one taslim, if one reads in the first tashahhud after the durood ibrahimiyyah a masnoon dua does this entail sajdah sahw? Or is this permissible?

A: It is permissible and sajda-e-Sahw will not be waajib.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
