Q: I would like to know what is the Islamic view on prehistoric life?
A: Science itself has proven that most of the theories and research regarding prehistoric eras are nothing but hypotheses and many things that cannot be established with certainty. Similarly many things regarding the prehistoric era have been faked up (e.g. Darwin’s theory of evolution, etc.). On the other hand Islam commands us to be more constructive and exhaust our energies and resources in things that will benefit us in our Deen and dunya.
And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
