Sunnah method of going down in Sajdah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: What is the Sunnah method of going down in sajdah? Should we go down into sajdah without placing the hands on the knees, or go down with placing the hands on the knees?

Bismillaah

A: You should go down in sajdah whilst putting the hands on the knees.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
