Q: Can you tell me what is the mas’ala if someone gave a qard-e-hasanah for the construction of a masjid and after it’s construction got canceled can this money be lent to someone for business proposes?
A: Since the money was donated for the purpose of building the Masjid and this has been cancelled, the money should be returned to the one who donated the money.
