Is Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) the word of God?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Is it correct to say that Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) is the word of God?

Bismillaah

A: We have not seen this in the hadeeth or Qur’aan. Hence, we should rather use those words of praise that appear in the Qur’aan or hadeeth.
