Can You Pray Qadha Salah Before Fardh Salah of the Same Day?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: Are you allowed to read qadha salaah first of the same day before the fardh salaah that you are able to read. E.g. Is it permissible to read Asr qadha before fardh maghrib salaah when the time of maghrib has begun?

Bismillaah

A: If one is a sahib-e-tarteeb (i.e. a person who has less than six qadha salaah) then it is compulsory upon him to first perform his asr salaah before he performs his maghrib salaah. However if he is not a sahib-e-tarteeb then it is permissible for him to perform his missed asr salaah before the maghrib salaah or after the maghrib salaah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
