Women praying behind a non-Mahram male

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulUloomTT.net

Q. Is it allowed for a female to read salaah behind a non mahram male? Is the salaah accepted etc. or is this not permissible?

A. Yes, it is allowed to perform Salaah behind a non-Mahram male who is leading the entire Jamaat (congregation) in Salaah. In this case, this person assumes the role of the Imam and everyone, both males and females will be required to perform Salaah behind him.

With respect to performing Salaah alone, behind a male who is not your Mahram (in a home), then this is considered to be Makrooh (reprehensible) and must be avoided. (Raddul Muhtar vol. pg.566). If this is done, the Salaah will be accepted.

And Allah knows best.
