Q1:  Does a lady have to make purdah from her grandparent’s (paternal and maternal) brother?

Q2:   Is purda wajib from a mans wife’s aunty (maternal) and nieces?

Q3:  Is purda wajib from a maid?

A:

A1:  The brothers of one’s Nana,Nani,Dada and Dadi are one’s Mahrams. As such, one does not have to make Purdah from them.

A2:  Yes, it is Waajib to make Purdah from them

A3:  It is permitted for a woman to leave her hands upto the wrists, feet upto the ankles and face open infront of non-muslim women, including her maid/s. It is not allowed to leave the hair, arms, etc. open before non-Muslim women, including maids.
