What is the ruling for men wearing bright red clothes

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulIftaBirmingham

What is the ruling for men wearing red (bright red) clothes?

 Answer:

It is Makruh Tanzihi for men to wear bright coloured garments such as red, yellow, orange etc… It is permissible to wear the aforementioned coloured garment when it is mixed with other colours. Thus, it is permissible to wear shirts, trousers etc… that may have stripes of red or a tinge of red in its pattern. This is by the way the same answer we give for those ahadith where it is narrated that the Prophet of Allah ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) wore red clothes.
