If a women starts her period during her fast does the fast break

If a women starts her period during her fast (roza) does that mean that her fast (roza) has broken? 

Answer:

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

Yes, her fast will be broken and she will be required to do qadha after the month of Ramadan. (Beshti Zewar p.59 v.2)
