They will be permissible if the toys are not harmful in any way to the spouses; they must not have an animate figure element and should not be inserted into the inner-private part of the women, rather such toys should be use do stimulate the outer private part such as the clitoris. It is not permissible to insert it into the woman’s anus.

Furthermore, the toys should be used to pleasure the spouse only.  One is not allowed to use the toys by themselves as this will be like masturbation.  Also, if there is a danger that by using the toys the spouses may begin to use them in private, then it will be best to completely avoid purchasing such products.
