(Fatwa: 402/315/B=1434)
If parents are old and weak and they are not able to earn and are poor then it is wajib on their son to serve them and bear their expenses. And if they are able to earn and are earning and they do not depend on their children for their service then it is not wajib to arrange for the expenses of such parents.
