Is it permissible to pray salah wearing only a lungi after wudhu done while naked?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I always take bath totally naked and doing complete wudhu in between bath. My question is that after having bath I come out of bathroom wearing only lungi and thereafter put my shirt on and pray salah. Is my salah acceptable because I have done my wudhu totally naked? Please clarify.

Answer

(Fatwa: 64/53/N=1434)

The wudhu which is done while taking a bath naked is lawful and valid as per the Shariah and the salah which are offered with it shall be correct and valid. However, it is not good to take bath completely naked as it is better not be naked in loneliness as well. The holy Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
الله أحق أن يستحي منه من الناس .
Allah is more entitled than people that bashfulness should be shown to him. (Bukhari, Tarjama al-Bab p. 42)
