Am I being controlled by divorce thoughts?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Please read and give me some advice if possible. I am suffering from a lot of divorce thoughts which come to me without my WILL and without my INTENTION and due to these thoughts I am starting to think and worry a lot, which is taking the peace in my life away at the moment. I am finding it hard to concentrate in my prayers and in my day to day life. I have no INTENTION of divorce and love my wife a lot. At one point in my head/mind I was having a conversation with my wife, where she says “can/could you divorce me or are you going to divorce me” and I reply in my mind “yes”. (But this conversation did not take place with my wife, it was only in my head.) Later I couldn?t stop thinking about it and was worrying me a lot. So I decided to E-MAIL a Maulana and WROTE on the E-Mail that after this thought had come in my head , later on I was just thinking and recapturing this conversation in my head and I repeated it to myself verbally. But really I did not repeat this verbally. Just because I WROTE down in the E-MAIL that I did say this thought to myself verbally, when I hadn?t, would this be taken as a divorce? Please note the reason I WROTE in the E-MAIL to the maulana that I said this thought to myself verbally, was because so the maulana could explain what the ruling would be in case I had verbally said this thought to myself. Please reply. I have tried searching for a similar query, but couldn?t find. Jazakalla

In response to your wife’s saying: ?could you divorce me or are you going to divorce me”, If you said ?yes? in your mind and did not pronounce it, you mentioned it at the time of asking a question, then there would be no Talaq on your wife.
