Jinaab mufti sahab,my name is naveed akram and basically i am from Kashmir,india but currently i am a student of business administration in United Kingdom and for my daily expenses i do part time work. If i dont work part time i will not be able to survive because my father will not be able to send me money. I am working as a kitchen assistant in a fast food here like MC Donalds and they serve haraam food. So i have to ccok and prepare that sometimes for customers. But i never eat that and inshallah will never do that. Now my question is that my friend told me that whatever i earn is also haraam because i deal with haraam food products like beef burgers, chicken burgers and other beef products. Not everything is haraam. they also have patato chips, fruit juices, vegetable burgers, but there is no alcohol or alcohol products. so is my earning haraam as i am required to deal with the said products.

The products you deal in include, according to you, halal and haram items, then all of your salary shall not be regarded haram. As far as haram products are concerned, you should excuse clearly to the owner of restaurant that you will not prepare the haram items. There is no wrong in preparing the halal items and the salary also shall be halal.
