Can she ghusl, pray, and have intercourse before 7th day?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
If a woman has no bleeding after 3 days of her menses but has some discharge only on the 7th day Is she allowed to take a ghusl and offer namaz for the period the bleeding stopped i.e on the 4,5 and 6th day before taking the final ghusl after 7 days?also can she after ghusl on 3rd day have intercourse with her husband unless the discharge is there?

Answer

(Fatwa: 1877/1359/H=1431)

If her habit was fixed, it was right for her to offer salah in fix days by taking bath. If the bleeding started again on the seventh day, then it would be considered that the habit has changed. However, if it exceeded ten days, the routine days of menses shall be counted while the remaining one would be of istihaza and salah and fasting will be wajib during istihaza period. If it stops in less than ten days i.e. 8 or 9 days, then all the days will be counted as menses. This ruling is only when you mean blood by ‘discharge’, if it is not blood rather it is white fluid then in such situation the fixed days are of menses and the white fluid is neither menses nor istihaza but it is the discharge of impurity, during which salah and fasting shall be wajib.
