Can one wudhu suffice for Salah if one has gastric issues & incontinence? Islamic ruling?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
If one has the problem of passing wind frequently due to gastric disease – even after performing wudhu and if one has a problem of incontinence, that is, discharge of droplets of urine even after washing twice or thrice and performing wudhu. Can he still complete his Salah with one wudhu or should he repeat his wudhu after every occasion of passing wind or urine droplet discharge. Please mention the Islamic ruling in such a situation.

Answer

(Fatwa: 1866/L=558-TL=1432)

If that person is excused (mazoor) as per the Shariah i.e. during the whole time of salah he does not find free time in which he can offer fardh salah by performing wudhu. If someone is excused to this extent then it is not necessary for him to perform wudhu each time after passing wind or urine drops. His wudhu will not break by wind or urine drops. However if some one is not mazoor to this extent then his wudhu shall break and it shall be necessary for him to offer salah by performing wudhu each time.
