Talaq takes place even if the words of talaq are uttered for threatening though there is no intention of talaq. But if the talaq was conditional, then it shall take place when the condition will be fulfilled, not before it. Thus in the question mentioned above, if you have said these words: “If you go home without permission the other two talaqs will occur”, if the wife went home without permission, then the two talaqs shall take place, otherwise not. If she did not go herself rather you took her, then too no talaq will occur. However, one talaq raja’i (revocable) took place in the case when you said before this event “I am giving you one talaq”. And no talaq will take place if you said ‘talla’ without saying complete word of talaq and which was not heard by anyone. In short, the ruling of only one talaq shall be applied by the sentence “I am giving you one talaq”. In this case, the husband has the right to take her back within the iddah period and they will have to do a fresh nikah once the iddah is over.
