Is one talaaq or three talaaq given in the sentence?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Assalamoalaikum, I and my wife had a fight. I gave her talaaq. My wordings were like this– ” I give you talaaq. It is one talaaq. Remember one talaaq”.. something like this. I want to know…whether it is one talaaq or three talaaq, as the word is 3 times in the above sentence. We are living in foreign country together. I cant live anywhere else, Nor can she. I dont want to leave her at all.. We love each other badly.. but we fight also very badly.

?I give you one talaq? this caused one talaq raja?i (revocable). After this you told twice (it is one talaq, remember one talaq) if you intend by it informing about that one talaq not giving a new talaq, then in this situation your wife was divorced with one talaq raja?i in which you can take her back within iddah without Nikah and after iddah with a fresh Nikah. But if you intended separate talaq by the next two sentences, in this situation your wife was divorced with mughallzah (irrevocable) talaq and became absolutely haram for you.
