Status of Haki Show

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askmufti.co.za

Q: Is the show called Haki haraam (impermissible)? Here are aspects which make me think the show might be haraam:

One aspect of it: haki. In the show they define it as: Haki is a mysterious power that is found in every living being in the world. It is not that different from the normal senses. However, most people do not notice it or fail to awaken it. Broadly, there are two types of Haki common to everyone, given the proper training; however, there is a third type that only a certain group of “chosen ones” are said to possess. In simple terms, Haki is an ability to sense spiritual energy and overpower enemies.

Other aspects of the show which make think it might be haraam is about something called devil fruit which is Devil Fruit is a mystical fruit found in the world that can give the eater many different and varying kinds of strange and interesting abilities depending on the type and variation of the fruit itself. Its in the TV show. Some fictional of the show say that Devil Fruits are said to be the fruits of the Sea Devil.

A: This Haki show is undoubtedly haraam. The concept of Haki comes from Norse mythology, which is all part of the Pagan periods during which people believed in different gods and different deities. These are all false beliefs. As you can see, they speak of the Devil’s fruit, which is a cult related to Shaytaan. Likewise, this idea of a mysterious force is false and superstitious.

You should avoid watching this show and prevent others from watching it as well.
