Q: Can I take my zakat out before the year ends? For example if I took my zakat out last Ramadhan can I take it out now before Ramadhan to give to charity? And I if I can will my zakat be accepted?
A: Example:
So Zakaat becomes compulsory on you in Ramadhaan but you wish to take it out in Rajab (two months before Ramadhaan) and distribute it. You may do so on condition that you remain as a person on whom Zakaat is compulsory till your actual due date (Ramadhaan). (Raddul Muhtaar V7 P60)
