Q: Last year I went for umrah to Saudi during Ramadan. I prayed my witr salah as they did in the harams. Was this valid? Some people are telling me this should not be done, it is not acceptable for hanafis?
A: They perform it as two and then one separate. A one Rakaat Salaah is not valid in the Hanafi Madhab. Thus such a Witr is not valid in the Hanafi Madhab.
