Q: Is it ok to cut fingernails at night?
A: The king Haroon Rasheed asked the Hanafi jurist Imam Abu Yusuf (Rahmatullaahi Alayh) regarding cutting nails at night. The Imam answered that it is permissible to cut the nails at night. (Fataawa hindiyyah V44 P27).
