Q: Are Muslim women allowed to wear 9ct gold rings?
A: The hadith of our Rasool (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) prohibit us from wearing rings that are not made from gold or silver. 9ct is not pure gold but has a majority mixture of alloy that is either copper or brass; hence, 9ct gold rings are not permissible.
