Q: In Islam it is haraam to eat animals of prey. Also, we are advised not to eat shark meat since they prey on humans as well and may have eaten human meat. Does this still make it ok to eat shark meat or fish fingers that are made out of shark meat?

Yes, it is Haraam to eat beasts of prey, but this law does not apply to fish. All fish are Halaal, and shark falls under the category of fish, thus it is Halaal to consume.Allah Ta’aala knows best.
