Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

You state you are having difficulty in praying every day. You want a wazifa to make you pray every day.

The feeling of guilt for not praying every day is from Allah. Appreciate the guilty feeling and do whatever it takes for you to correct yourself. A simple wazifa cannot do that. If you are hungry, you will make an effort to find food. Then, your hunger will be satiated and you will have energy in you. Reading any amount of wazifas will not get you food.  If you are sick, you need to see a doctor. Reading wazifas alone will not cure you. You have to adopt means to consult a doctor to cure you. Likewise, in order to pray every day, you must make an effort like how you make an effort to eat and drink every day or else the body will get weak.

When a person does not pray every day, his soul, ruh (spiritual body) gets week and it has to be fed by praying.

Push yourself to pray every day five times a day. Remember that one day we will die and face Allah on the day of Qiyaamah. The first thing Allah will question us on the day of Qiyaamah is about salaah. If one fails in that, then he will be in serious trouble on the day of Qiyaamah.

Consider the following hadiths:

Huraith bin Qabisah narrated: “I arrived in Al-Madinah and said: ‘O Allah! Facilitate me to be in a righteous gathering.'” He said: “I sat with Abu Hurairah and said: ‘Indeed I asked Allah to provide me with a righteous gathering. So narrate a hadith to me which you heard from Allah’s Messenger () so that perhaps Allah would cause me to benefit from it.’ He said: ‘I heard Allah’s Messenger () say: “Indeed the first deed by which a servant will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection is his Salaat. If it is complete, he is successful and saved, but if it is defective, he has failed and lost. So if something is deficient in his obligatory (prayers) then the Lord, Mighty and Sublime says: ‘Look! Are there any voluntary (prayers) for my worshipper?’ So with them, what was deficient in his obligatory (prayers) will be completed. Then the rest of his deeds will be treated like that.”[1]

Hadhrat Naufil bin Mu’aawiyah (Radhiyallaho anho) narrates that he heard the Prophet (Sallallaho alaihe wasallam) saying, “A person who has missed one salaat is like one who has lost all his family and wealth.”[2]

In order to spiritually uplift yourself and be able to be a practicing Muslim, we advise the following:

1)     Stay in the company of the pious. Identify an ‘alim of your locality with who you have muhabbat and benefit from him as much as you can. Listen to his talks and advises.

2)     Going out in tableegh for a few days will be very beneficial when you are in an environment of the masjid, pious people etc., that has a positive effect on one’s actions. Many people went out in jamaa’at and made tawbah and changed their lives. You should consider this strongly.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
