Pigskin shoes with wet feet

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I recently, the other day, came across the whole pig-skin shoes etc. I was unaware of this, and wanted to ask, 1) Many a times I did wudu and with wet feet, put my feet in the shoes. What am I supposed to do now? 2) also sometimes, after making wudu at home, i usd to put sandals on made of pig skin (with wet feet), and then also walk into the living room, with wet feet still.

That must means Ive made the whole carpet impure then. Im feeling overwhelmed. Must I wash the whole of the carpet now? Also, My bag Is made of pig skin, I didnt know. What shall I do? Throw it away? Ive walked in the rain many a times with that bag, and it obviously touched my clothes and coat whilst wet. So it became napaak basically

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuh.

It is impermissible to use clothing and items made from pigskin. Dispose of them and make tawbah and istighfār for having used them.[1]

Your clothes and feet did not become impure due to touching the shoes and bags.[2]
