I am enquiring on behalf of my friend, the couple have made nikaah and lived together for 3 years – the couple wants to have a walima
After 3 years of nikaah, will it be ok for her to wear a wedding gown and a veil but she won’t cover her face
Pls advise according to shariah

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
The purpose of the Walima is to celebrate the first union between the husband and wife. In the enquired case, the Nikah took place three years ago and the couple have already lived together.
There is no Walima for a delayed celebration of the marriage union. However, the husband and wife may rejoice their union every day of their marital life by themselves.
